If you like organizing ‘chill plans at home’ with friends, you probably know that it can be a real challenge to surprise your guests, specially when it comes to the appetizers and drinks. The secret is to experiment with new things and to have fun too: would you like to become a cocktail specialist and leave everyone in awe? Then read on.

Here are the three easiest cocktail recipes to prepare and became a cocktail queen. Let’s shake it!

A brunch cocktail: Negroni

If the plan is to enjoy a brunch in good company and recharge your batteries for the rest of the day, a Negroni Cocktail is a must for your guests (we also included an alcohol-free version). An Italian classic that provides the perfect touch of freshness for the occasion.

It is so easy to prepare that the hardest part might just be buying the ingredients. Take a notebook and a pen and write it down:

Ingredients:

- 30 ml of Campari
- 30 ml of Gin
- 30 ml of Red Vermouth
- The peel of an orange
- Ice

Preparing the Negroni will be as easy as adding all the ingredients to a shaker or closed container (except for the peel of the orange), mixing them for a few seconds and finally serving it in a glass with more ice and the peel of the orange. And voilà, a strong and tasty drink that, without any doubt, your guests will want to keep drinking.

Ingredients (Alcohol-free Negroni):

- 100 ml of pomegranate juice
- 100 ml of orange juice
- 100 ml of grapefruit juice
- 30 ml of agave syrup
- Ice

To prepare the non-alcoholic version of the Negroni, you just have to mix the agave syrup with the orange juice. Shake this mixture in a cocktail shaker along with the ice and the pomegranate and grapefruit juices. To finish, serve the Negroni in a glass with more ice. And that's it. In the blink of an eye you have a refreshing non-alcoholic drink for your aperitivo.

An afternoon cocktail: Raspberry mimosa

For afternoon events it is important to take into account the enthusiasm with which your guests will arrive after a looong day of work and the need to just chill. Afternoon drinks usually take place between six and eight o'clock in the evening, so they should be characterized by a light and fresh cocktail to beat the summer heat.

The preparation of this cocktail will not take more than ten minutes and we are pretty sure you’ll be glad you made it as you sip it watching the sunset.

Ingredients:

- 100 gr of frozen raspberries
- 2 spoons of liquid cane sugar
- A bottle of cava or champagne

To achieve the best afternoon cocktail, first shred the raspberries in a blender until they are thick. Once this is done, you must pour the shredded raspberries in an elongated glass along with the cane sugar. Finally, mix the desired amount of cava or champagne and… there you have it. The next step, and the most important one, is to enjoy it.

An evening cocktail: Gimlet

The day is coming to an end and to put the finishing touch, what's better than a good cocktail? Usually when the night falls, people get more intense and emotional. And there is no better way to accompany a good conversation than with a Gimlet.

You may not be familiar with the name, but the truth is that you will find its taste extraordinary: a perfect combination of acidity and sweetness.

The Gimlet won't take more than five minutes to prepare and it will make you look like a great hostess.

Ingredients:

- 45 ml of Gin
- 15 ml of lime juice
- 15 m of syrup (the one you prefer)
- Ice

Once the ingredients are ready, let's get to work! You simply have to mix all the ingredients (including ice) in a shaker or a closed container and serve it in a glass that does justice to the cocktail. If you want to add a chic touch, decorate the glass with a slice of lime.
