Providing infinite color hues, shape and textures, gemstones, or also called semi-precious stones, have a powerful presence in our jewelry. Earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets acquire a unique character due to the naturalness that precede these pieces, as no two pieces are alike. In addition to their beauty, they have meanings that go much further. Today, we review the power and properties of the most significant semi-precious stones that make up the main essence of the PDPAOLA designs.

Lapis lazuli
It is characterized by its deep blue color. Representing wisdom and truth, Lapis Lazuli is a symbol of royalty and honor. Thanks to its powerful energies, it activates one of the most important chakras: the third eye.
It is said to be able to relieve pain and can benefit the respiratory and nervous systems. It can be particularly helpful in identifying habitual patterns of thought and emotions that sabotage the healing process.

Labradorite
Labradorite is originally dark in color but contains many internal flashes that make the color vary greatly with light. The mythology speaks of labradorite as an energy that helps to get higher consciousness, to stay positive, productive and healthy. Labradorite directs one of the most important chakras, the one connected with spiritual expansion. It is a grayish stone, but sometimes its inner iridescence can be seen in the dark almost like a metaphor about life: you can always find the light even in the darkest moments. Labradorite could be described as a stone given to transformation, a helpful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance. Balances and protects the aura, elevates consciousness, and grounds spiritual energies. Powerful to reveal the truth behind illusions, Labradorite banishes fears and insecurities and strengthens self-belief and confidence in the universe.

Aquamarine
From teal to deep blue, this semi-precious stone is strongly related to the sea. As part of the emerald family and ruled by the moon, this stone is related to feminine energy, protecting and purifying personal energies. Aquamarine evokes the purity of crystal clear waters and the euphoria and relaxation of the sea. It is calming, and comforting, inspiring truth and confidence. The name Aguamarina comes from the Latin "aqua marinus", which means "sea water".

Mother of pearl
Mother of pearl is an iridescent layer of material that forms the lining of many mollusks. The natural shell is found in salty and fresh waters around the world, commonly believed to attract prosperity. It is often used in mystical work and tradition to increase intuition, psychic sensitivity, and imagination. Mother-of-pearl is said to offer maternal and relaxing protection against negative energy and love.

Tiger Eye
Full of energy, the tiger eye is a reminder of our inner strength. This brown-hued veined stone is said to enhance self-confidence and spark motivation. History also says that the tiger eye retains the heat and brightness of the sun, welcoming that natural energy to help in the most cloudy or dark days.
